Under Dutch laws, pedestrians and cyclists are considered vulnerable road users. If you, as a pedestrian or cyclist, are hit by a car, you will receive 100% of the damages in most cases, unless the driver can prove that you were (partly) to blame for the accident or that it was a case of force majeure. When two cars collide, the person who causes the collision is liable. In the event of a rear-end collision, this will usually be the person in the vehicle behind.

We will start by mapping the damage you have sustained in a damage statement. We then send this statement to the other party’s insurer for an advance payment on the damage. In addition, we will also have a medical report compiled to detail the impact of the accident. This is particularly important in the case of whiplash, where the cause is more difficult to prove.
